Safe and Sound<\/a>, Nelsons<\/a>, Hardy Signs<\/a> and Planning and Design Practice<\/a> are among the latest Marketing Derby<\/a> Bondholders to announce new appointments in recent weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Safe and Sound<\/strong>, which supports children and young people affected by child exploitation, has announced the appointment of Jenny Wye as its new PR and communications consultant.<\/p>\n\n\n

Jenny will be responsible for leading the charity\u2019s public relations, events and fundraising efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She brings a wealth of experience, with a proven track record of success in developing and implementing strategic communications campaigns for a variety of organisations both in the private and public sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chief executive Tracy Harrison said: \u201cWe are delighted to welcome Jenny to the team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHer skills and experience will be invaluable as we continue to raise awareness of child exploitation and expand our services to support more young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cJenny\u2019s passion for making a difference aligns perfectly with our mission, and we are confident that she will play a key role in helping us achieve our goals.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Law firm Nelsons<\/strong> has grown its private client team with a number of recent arrivals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The firm\u2019s acquisition of Else Solicitors has brought Kathryn Caple, a legal director with 20 years’ experience in wills and probate and a strong client following, to Nelsons.<\/p>\n\n\n

Also joining from Else is Myah Armstrong, a paralegal who has worked closely with Kathryn and is currently pursuing her legal qualifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The team has also welcomed the arrival of Bianca Gregory and Tom Glenister.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bianca is an experienced legal executive who has advised on wills and probate matters for almost a decade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tom, a senior associate, specialises in wills that provide for vulnerable beneficiaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The team has also been strengthened by the return of associate Heidi Van Rooyen following her maternity leave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Completing the team’s growth is Sainabou Touray, who recently qualified as a solicitor after two years with Nelsons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Helen Salisbury, partner and head of private client at Nelsons’ Derby office, said: \u201cThe past few months have been an exceptionally busy and exciting time for our Derby-based team with the acquisition of Else Solicitors and the recruitment of more talented individuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWith the recent Budget announcements, pension and inheritance changes have highlighted the increasing need for individuals to review their estate planning, particularly concerning areas such as business property relief and agricultural property relief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Our team is well-equipped to guide clients through these complexities and provide tailored advice for those navigating these important matters.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hardy Signs<\/strong> has announced the expansion of its team, welcoming new talent in both its marketing and fabrication departments.<\/p>\n\n\n

Joining the marketing team are Chloe Waring and Lara Holland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chloe is currently studying her Level 3 Multichannel Marketing Apprenticeship with EMA Training<\/a>, while Lara is gaining hands-on experience alongside her T-Level in Business at Burton and South Derbyshire College.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their studies will complement real-world industry experience, allowing them to develop skills that directly contribute to Hardy Signs\u2019 continued growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the fabrication department, the firm has welcomed Tommy James, an experienced welder with a wealth of knowledge from his previous fabrication roles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, as part of its continued growth, Planning & Design Practice<\/strong> has announced some new team members.<\/p>\n\n\n

Joining its architectural team is David Innes, an architectural technologist who has experience of working on heritage projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Suzanne Searston has joined the company as office manager.  She has had a varied career in administration across a number of sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, principal planner Dominic Cooney has rejoined the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A chartered town planner, Dominic is qualified to Masters Level and returns having originally joined Planning & Design back in 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Richard Pigott, director at Planning & Design, said: \u201cNew colleagues add to the air of excitement here at PDP, and we are pleased to welcome David and Suzanne to the team, as well as wish Dominic a very welcome return.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
