The nomination period for this year\u2019s Marketing Derby<\/a> Food and Drink Awards has been extended!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nominations were due to close tomorrow \u2013 but now, the deadline has been extended until 12noon on Monday to allow as many people as possible to get their last-minute votes in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can nominate your favourite places to eat and drink here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Marketing Derby Food and Drink Awards aim to recognise and celebrate the very best eating and drinking establishments in Derby and Derbyshire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Categories include Best Caf\u00e9, Best Pub, Best Bar and Best Country Pub \/ Restaurant \u2013 and, of course, Restaurant of the Year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Christopher Tebbs, inward investment executive at Marketing Derby and Food and Drink Awards lead, said: \u201cWe\u2019re delighted to announce that we are extending the nomination period for this year\u2019s awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe have so far received more than 2,000 high-quality nominations \u2013 and hope people will use this little bit of extra time to put forward their last-minute nominations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt really could make all the difference when it comes to your favourite place to eat or drink getting the recognition they deserve.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n

Featuring 12 categories, the awards have been designed to allow as many food and drink businesses as possible to enter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There will once again be an Innovation Award, chosen by Marketing Derby, and an award presented on the night recognising Outstanding Achievement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And there is a new category this year, Bustler\u2019s Best Bite, overseen by Bustler<\/a>, which asks people to nominate their favourite dish, snack, drink or bite from around Derbyshire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An updated Food and Drink Guide will also be produced, which will feature all of the 2025 winners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, the public, the business community and the food and drink outlets themselves are invited to make nominations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the nomination period closes, judges will round them down to a shortlist of finalists, who will be announced in August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The winners will then be revealed at a vibrant ceremony at The Chocolate Factory on 6 October.<\/p>\n\n\n
