Derby County Community Trust<\/a> has honoured its participants, volunteers and staff members at an annual awards evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More than 200 guests attending the trust\u2019s annual awards ceremony, which took place last month at Derby County<\/a>\u2019s Pride Park Stadium.<\/p>\n\n\n

Each year, the trust engages with more than 30,000 people through more than 40 diverse programmes spanning sport, physical activity, health and education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These programmes are each designed to enrich live and strengthen local communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s awards recognised eight winners:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Volunteer Champion: Jermaine Judson<\/p>\n\n\n\n

School of the Year: Landau Forte Moorhead Academy<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Special Recognition: Schools Events Calendar<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inclusion Champion: Ali Setayesh and Amy Goulding<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participant of the Year: Neil Groves<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Education Champion: Liam Carter<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Employee of the Year: Adam Rowley<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Programme of the Year: Female Talent Pathway and Emerging Talent Centre<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paul Newman, head of community at the trust, said: \u201cThe awards are the highlight of our year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a chance to come together with our participants, staff and partners to celebrate the incredible work happening across the trust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
