Construction giant Bowmer + Kirkland<\/a> is set to hold a major event in Derby for those interested in its degree apprenticeships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The firm, which is one of the largest and most successful family-owned construction and development groups in the UK, will be holding its annual Degree Apprenticeship Open Evening at Derby Museums<\/a>\u2019 Museum of Making on Thursday 13 November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The business has a wide range of construction related degree apprenticeships available covering numerous job roles including quantity surveying, site management, site engineering, estimating, design, mechanical, electrical and building services management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

School-leavers and their parents\/carers are being invited to attend the event to gain a clear understanding of what the company\u2019s degree apprenticeships involve, explore the range of courses on offer and speak directly with both current and past apprentices and senior staff to help students gain a clear understanding of the process and determine the best path for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company\u2019s Degree Apprenticeship Scheme is fully funded, students will earn a full-time salary, gain hands-on experience while studying for a degree and will complete their course without student debt and a professional qualification.<\/p>\n\n\n
