The evening highlighted Derby\u2019s finest restaurants, pubs, bars and cafes, in categories including Best Newcomer, Best Out of Town, and the highly prestigious Restaurant of the Year. The award ceremony, organised by Marketing Derby in conjunction with the <a href=\"\/derby-telegraph\">Derby Telegraph<\/a> and <a href=\"\/roundhouse-events\">Roundhouse Events<\/a>, was hosted by Nick Britten, Managing Director of <a href=\"\/another-voice\">Another Voice<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Over 1,400 nominations were received, showcasing the strength of the city\u2019s food and drink industry. Marketing Derby\u2019s <a href=\"\/john\">John Forkin<\/a> praised the variety in the finalists and winners.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEach year, the standard gets better.
